time trigger for Olympus camera Copyright (C) 2013 Stefan Schuermans Copyleft: GNU public license - http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html a BlinkenArea project - http://www.blinkenarea.org/ This project is an external trigger circuit for an Olympus camera. It is able to detect an object passing a light barrier and will trigger the camera after a configurable amount of time via a cable, mimicking an wire-bound external trigger button. Two potentiometers are used to configure the delay between the detection of the object by the light barrier and the output of the trigger impulse to the camera. One potentiometer is for coarse grained time setting and the other one for fine-tuning. To configure the time, set the fine-grain potentiometer to middle position, then try to set the time using the coarse-grain potentiometer as precise as you can. Afterwards, modify the fine-grain potentiometer to get the time exactly right. The delay can be configured from a few milliseconds to about one second. The schematic in the electrics directory is drawn using gEDA gschem: http://wiki.geda-project.org/geda:gaf
